Inlaid Wooden Box - Joanne's Personal Collection

Darlings, I am dipping into my personal collection of finds with this inlaid treasure box box passed down to me by a dear British friend. I do believe it is very old and very British, but I have no facts to back that up. I still love it but it's time for it to move on...will you be the lucky one that gets to own it next?

It is not in perfect condition, though aged in a way that lends it character. It is totally open inside and in need of a new paper liner, but there's plenty of space for pens, papers or secret love letters.....it comes with it's original key.
